I wanted to thank you for post and kind words. I also want to thank you for sharing about you and your sister’s disabilities and struggles with transitioning and employment. I wanted to share with you that after spending 25 years of my professional career working in corporate America, I found myself employed for a nonprofit organization that assists individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities. I worked as an advocate in assisting in employment, housing, day services, medical services, self-advocacy and continued education.
