Pete Carroll's Coaching Philosophy
Understanding a coaching philosophy is important in the development of one’s own personal philosophy. There are many components that shape a philosophy and understanding who you are as a person and a coach are valuable in the discovery of a coaching philosophy. If we examine the philosophy of Pete Carroll, the Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks, Pete’s philosophy journey developed as he travelled from college teams to professional football leagues. Not until Coach Carroll hit rock bottom and without a coaching job, did he discover and develop his coaching philosophy.
