Anne acted like a child in the early scenes. She did everything she could to irritate and disturb the adults. Anne was only thirteen when they had to go into hiding, so she didn’t really know what to expect when it all happened. She had a tough time getting used to being in hiding and get used to not being able to move around at all really during the day. Anne also talked back towards the adult’s many different times. Dussel tells them what has been going on outside? When Mr. Dussel told the others what was happening the were worried sick. Was everybody okay? No, nobody was okay. They suffered terribly. Nazis weren’t nice at all, they did everything in their power to get rid of the Jews. So many people died and not very many survived. Mr. Frank was very lucky to have survived. They had no clue how bad it was. Was it really that bad? Yes it was, they were murdering Jews in mass amounts each and everyday.
