“Kind of but it’s just cool”, Marie responded with a kindly smile.
Fernie looking at Elizabeth remembered what his mother, Jazmine, brown hair with strands of white hair that blended carefully and showed her as a wise lady, had told him before he began to drive to the club. “Mijo, remember appearances lie”, she said with an unusual tone.
“Yeah, yeah I know”, Fernie replied.
The line from the club was starting to move at a quickly pace. Johnny realizes it was getting kind of cold, as the line advanced. As they walked into the club, the lights were colorful and bright the room was dark, the music super loud. They found a table to sit that was near the dance floor which shone with the many little lights like a diamond hitting the light. As Johnny walked to the bar and ask for some drinks for the table, Fernie caught a glimpse of this beautiful girl across the dance floor.
“Fernie what are you looking at”, asked Marie.
“This gorgeous girl, across the dance floor”, Fernie replied without looking at Marie.
As the club, became more alive and a looked like it was an ocean of people dancing. Fernie couldn’t take his eyes away from that stunning beautiful girl in the red apple dress. Finally, everyone decided to encourage him to go and talk to the girl. Slowly and Doubtfully, Fernie walked toward the girl sitting on the other end of the dance floor. When he arrived there, she looked even more beautiful than he thought she looked from far away. She had golden hair with pink lips and a nice silhouette body. Fernie instantly fell in love. As he approached her, he said, “Hey, you look real pretty.” “I’m Fernie and you are.”
The girl blushed so much her cheeks turned red.
“I’m Victoria,” she said in a sweet low voice.
When a song started playing Fernie asked her to dance with him. She excitedly said yes and they twirled into the dance floor. They started talking about the club and how nice it was, and they started talking about other nice things. As Fernie looked into her eyes he could see she was about the same age as he was and he could see his reflection across her hazel color eyes. She had long and extended lashes that almost touched her eyebrow. She looked at him and gave him a timid smile knowing that he was checking her out. As the time went by the club turned colder and Fernie knew it was time for him to go home so he kindly asked her if she would like a she said yes to the ride to her house. Fernie lent her his jacket when they stepped out the club because it was really fresh. As they drove home Fernie saw that she didn’t live so far away from the club and when they got there. He asked her if he could see her some other day she said
yes.
When Fernie arrived to his house he remembered that he had lent the jacket to Victoria and was going to get it back tomorrow. In the morning he woke up with a smile ear to ear. He was so excited to see her again and get to know her a little bit more. As he dashed out of the house on his way to Victorias he felt the excitement rushing through his blood. He arrived in the to the house he had dropped her in and rang the door bell once and twice three times even but no one answered.
A neighbor saw him and he asked him that if he knew if Victoria had gone out or something because no one answers. The man turned powder white and walked a little back. What are you talking about he said chocking on his words she died 5 years ago.
What are you talking about I just danced with her last night, said fernie in disbelieve
That can’t be im telling you she is dead the man repeated like a broken record. Ill take you were she rest in the cemetery over there. Fernie went to the cemetery and the man and him found a surprise on top of her tomb. Fernies jacket was on top of her grave. Fernie dashed to his car and drove like a maniac home not believing his eyes.
