Phase 5 DB Criminal lawll
I have read all the post and felt that everyone explained their thoughts extremely well. I thought I would breeze through this class based on my background, however I learned more than I expected. I had many discussions since the start of class, which I have come to look forward to. I hope that our discussions helped everyone in this class understand this subject a little better. I look forward to having classes in the future with you all.
I feel the most interesting week was the Phase 3 discussions. I think the Tank case was the most interesting to me, with all the responses and the issues that each state has regarding the charge of robbery. It amazed me how some of us felt that it was robbery, while others felt that John sort of jumped the gun with claiming robbery based on appearance only.
The only real thing I feel that would have increased the understanding of some of the information is if our classmates were to have asked more questions to those they responded too. Overall I feel the class was very informative and through. I have nothing that I would say I am unsure about. I do feel that the DB for week 4 would have been more beneficial for me at least if we would have responded to something like a rough draft of the IP instead of a basic outline. Seeing how other where approaching their papers may have made each of us better at our own.

When it comes to Peggy Hettricks case it has been cold for many of decades. This was a mystery case in 1987 and in August 10, 1998 Timothy Masters was charged with Peggy’s death. When reading this case Timothy Masters was released and dismissed of all charges in 2008. When it came to the roles in this case they were very hard to follow in my opinion. The prosecutor had the role to present the State’s case against the defense which he/she had to prove that it was in Mr. Masters knife collection, his drawings, failure to report seeing Peggy’s body, and the time frame of the homicide. Which with that being said that is why he was a suspect of Peggy Hettrick murder. It took the police several years with them trying to build a case and which didn’t come up with too much evidence.…

With a great deal of debate the design of the United States along with the lay out by the founders of the country who took their roll in laying down the “rules” of the United States of America very seriously. The Articles of Confederation, the Bill of Rights, and the US Constitution lay the floor work of a layer of protection afforded to all United States Citizens. Each of the doctrines provides a step towards the written words that have granted many men and women protection from persecution as well as freedoms not received in other parts of the world. The last piece of the three historical documents, the US Constitution is comprised of a set of amendments, which have been written to protect several different rights that as a citizen are protected from false persecution. These constitutional amendments play a large roll, in the manner in which aspects of court procedure handled in both juvenile and adult court systems.…

All of my classmates and my teacher were given a limited amount of information on the class. It was not like high school at all. I understood that it was the first time the class was going to be offered at the high school campus, but more information about the class should have been given to the teacher and students.…

Crime is a very fragile word that could be portrayed into many different understandings. The definition of a crime; According to "Dictionary.com" (2014), " is an action or an instance of negligence that is deemed injurious to the public welfare or morals or to the interests of the state, and that is legally prohibited" (Noun 1.) In week two I learned a lot about how different databases reflect in different ways according to the different business needs. During the second discussion question I learned about how the two major databases, Microsoft Access and Oracle are leading the top businesses today. There were many differences between the two and I found that in my career I have been using both without knowing it at first. The individual assignment was probably the most informative portion of the week because I was able to learn more about the business systems and am now able to apply them to where I work now.…

The discussion this week by the team was great. We had a very clearly defined outline to follow which helped to organize our discussion topics amongst one another. I have learned so much from taking this class. I have learned what other cultures and races had to endure to gain the respect from others that ridiculed and disrespected them as humans just because they were different. I have also learned that even though some have worked very hard, they are still not accepted by others. I have also learned that one has to be accepting and tolerant, to listen with your heart, and you could learn many new things like how others live, cook, raise their children, different religions and their beliefs. Even though the United States is so diverse, people are very…

I really enjoyed this week's class because it was more hands on. In a classroom setting, it is sometimes hard to picture the different scenarios being lectured. Being ‘on the scene’ in the parking lot helped me see a clearer picture. Going through the motions of low-risk stops helped me, grasp the full concept of the risk that police officers go through every day. I was clueless about the details to officers actions pertaining to different stops.…

I feel that the most important thing that was covered in this class was not really the math work, but more so on how to teach and structure a math class. As per the subject in question, I felt that every text assignment problems had something that I was uncertain about and taught me ways to solve them. For example I thought learning about sets and the Vaughn Diagram was interesting. When I was in school we never learned through a chart. Now I know how to…
