Jesus demonstrates the restraint of power in Philippians 2:1-11 by simply putting others above himself. When you think of characters’ in the bible, there are quite a few who show him negative behavior and express criticism toward him. Self-illumination is reflected as experiencing life, along with feeling life, and achieving goals. Discovering knowledge, love, and emotions are all parts of the life that Jesus has given us. Jesus is the best example of self-illumination because without him, we would not be able to experience all of these wonderful things, because of God’s grace. Jesus unselfishly led by example. He led people and showed them how to grow through humility. Jesus didn’t practice self-illumination by building himself up, instead he showed the people their worth and encouraged them to have self-illumination and believe in their worthiness of God. As a result the people would be compassionate, and merciful in serving
