I will be meeting people that would bring diverse philosophies and ideas together within the DPT program, so it is students' responsibility to keep professionalism by having an open mind for a more organized and unified system of practice that represents the field of physical therapy. From teaching a bilingual school with students with disabilities at New York City to educating students studying abroad over the summer at Hofstra University, I learned how to become a teacher that adopts practice based on my students' response. Granted, I believe prospective students should focus on the most informative source when establishing treatments: the patients.
