One of the men who was a Dallas police officer told an example where a teenage woman who have underwent the procedure of aborting her child and was devastated with sadness and guilt. I retorted and said that does not mean that the law of abortion is at fault, it is the fault of that girl who made the choice of aborting her child. Another man said that abortion is the right to kill unborn children for others who made a mistake. I said it is there mistake to make and not our right to stop a woman from choosing what they want to do with their body. Now it was my former pastor’s turn to speak and he said something is similar to what the other men and how it’s unbiblical. I finally said write a letter to the governor. I know it sounds a little obnoxious but it made all the other men to zip their lip and stop the discussion all together.
There are a couple reasons why I made this decision to oppose the church members about abortion. One of the reasons is because there negative view against me from the beginning of the group. A group of older white men and one Indian guy opposing their view point is not what they want to see. So I felt like I needed to show them there talking down to the wrong Indian Man. It basically became a pissing contest to see who comes
