Dear Joel, I am happy to thank you for helping me to obtain an A in Engineering and Social responsibility (4A03) course. I was really satisfied on the way you handled the discussions and our class, in general; hence, I was really inspired and motivated to exert my best in every task I had to do for the class. And my hard work and commitment has paid off. I got the best grade possible! I can really say that I am proud of my accomplishments. Seeing the A made me feel elated. Nevertheless, more than the grade, I am more proud of the learning I achieved during this semester. And truth is told, I have truly learned a lot in this course like the importance of the creativity of an individual in this competitive globe and the courage to ask questions when you are in doubt. However, more than the academic aspect, I have learned the value of hard work and commitment. I learned that it is only by exerting my best effort that I can really excel and this truth does not only apply in my studies but also in the other aspects of my life. I addition, I also discovered my strengths and weaknesses. I now know that I am good at critical thinking, planning and managing multiple tasks at one time. But despite all my positive side, I now know that I am not a perfect person and I can never be one. Therefore, I should not be disheartened if ever I fail at some things. My failures should also not hinder me from trying again because if there is one thing I am best at, it is in embarking on something new and learning it. I may not excel at everything, but the most important thing is the fact that I tried. Above all, this course has helped me appreciate education more. I have now realized the reality of what my parents have always told me, that my education is really my investment for the future. It toughens me and prepares me to face the hardship and challenges that I will face when I become an adult.
