For Immediate Release Press Inquiries: Carol Taylor 520-305-6467 carol@teebagzgolf.com Press Release “New Golf Themed Business Launches”

Tucson, AZ – What do you get when you combine the minds of two great friends who are passionate about golf and fun? You get www.teebagzgolf.com, a brand new golf novelty product that will soon be in the golf bags of golfers throughout the country.
As avid golfers and regular hosts and attendees of golf tournaments, Ashleigh Tarkington (of Bayfield, CO) and Carol Taylor (of Tucson, AZ) came up with the idea for Tee Bagz over time. Developed in Ashleigh’s living room, Tee Bagz are an oversized tea bag that can be filled with a variety of golf tees, divot repair tools, and ball markers (depending on which version is purchased). The bags are entertaining, whimsical and the ideal present for any golfer.
Tee Bagz can be purchased for retail sale, used for golf tournament goodie bags, as giveaways for golf themed events, for stocking stuffers, or as a unique gift idea. Currently, four different varieties of the bags can be purchased at www.teebagzgolf.com with more to come. Says Ashleigh of the new business venture, “Being able to launch Tee Bagz in both Tucson and in Southwest Colorado has allowed us to reach two very passionate golf markets. No matter where you live or what kind of course you golf on, Tee Bagz are great additions to any golf bag!”
First introduced at the Young Life Tournament, held at Hillcrest Golf Course in Durango, CO on May 19, Ashleigh and Carol have big plans in mind for their Tee Bagz. They plan to add personalized logo options, different variations for the contents of the Tee Bagz, logo’d apparel, and other Tee Bagz related merchandise to the website. “The idea behind Tee Bagz is so simple,” says Carol, “There are so many different uses for them and everyone we show them to seems to come up with something new. “

Each hole comprises an area called the tee from which golfers start each hole. Golfers strike the ball from the tee and are aiming to move the ball towards a cup at the other end of the hole. The cup is located somewhere on a green, a small area of grass cut short. In between the tee and the green is called the fairway. Golfers aim to keep the ball on the fairway (its not much fun trying to you’re your ball in the trees or lakes on the edge of the fairway. Each strike of the ball is called…

The first person that is going to hit is the kid from East Pennsboro, next is the kid from Susquehanna Township then lastly me. As the first group was getting out of view the kid from East Pennsboro got ready to hit, he didn’t have that good of a swing because he had a baseball swing and probably will not be on the fairway. Then he hit and my thoughts were correct he ended up in the woods on the left. I felt his anger and hoped my tee shot will get me off to a good start. The next to tee off is person from Susquehanna Township and he stepped up on the tee, he had a much better swing and had a good stance unlike the first guy. He hit the ball good but it didn’t have that much distance and unlike the first guy went in the fairway.…

    History Of Golf Essay

Golf is a game played on a large open-air course, in which a small hard ball is struck with a club into a series of small holes in the ground. The object being to use the fewest possible strokes to complete the course. Golf began around 1457 when King James ll of Scotland banned Golf and football because he wanted people to focus on archery. The first major item you need to play golf is a golf ball. Some of the first golf balls were made entirely of hardwood, such as beech and box trees. These balls appeared during the 15th century and remained in use until the 17th century. Of course, a typical wooden golf ball would only last for a few games before it needed to be replaced. An alternative type of golf ball, known as a feathery, also appeared around the era of the wooden ball. A feathery was basically a leather pouch filled with chicken or goose feathers. Due to the extensive labor and materials required, a single feathery ball would often cost the modern-day equivalent of $10-$20. Today we now use many materials into making golf balls, but the majority can be broken down into three categories: rubbers, ionomers and urethanes. The second major item you need is a club. In the earliest days of golf, players initially carved their own clubs from wood. They soon turned to skilled craftsmen to produce competitive equipment. Club heads were made from tough wood such as beech, holly, pear and apple. Shafts were made from ash or hazel. The head was connected to the shaft using a splint and…
