Privacy concerns will always come about regardless of what a situation might be. Society does not like to embrace change, but sometimes change is what our society needs. EMRs are a great asset especially in an emergency and a patient can’t convey medications that are being used, medication allergies, and chronic illnesses that the person might have been previously diagnosed. Furthermore, we cannot forget the added benefits of medical staff when inputting information into a person’s chart.
