You’ve gone this far in the pregnancy, you might as well hang in there for the sake of the unborn child that you dealt with for the past 14 weeks. And if you feel that you will be unfit to raise this child when it is finally born, there is always the choice of adoption. Even if during your pregnancy you know for a fact that what would be best for the child is abortion, who knows, things may pick up for you by the time the baby is born and you can always change your mind in keeping your child after it is born. In many cases where mothers come to an agreement with themselves and other close ones that they are certain they’d like to set the child up for abortion when it is finally born, when they actually see their born child and they hold them

Growing up in today’s society, we find ourselves in an environment where kids are having kids, parents who aren’t capable to raise a child are having kids, and victims of sexual assault are having kids. And in most cases, the child ends up living a life that isn’t too well. This leads to children being neglected, abused, homeless, hungry and more importantly unloved. (Alperstein) Imagine these women not being allowed to have an abortion. Abortions eliminate the risks of all of those tragedies happening. Many say, the problem shouldn’t be killing an egg that isn’t fully evolved into a baby. The problem should be having children but later neglecting or mistreating them to the point where they can’t be a happy child. Many times we hear parents say “I should have waited” or “My life would be so much better if I had made different decisions”. From young, we are taught that if a problem can be avoided, we should work towards avoiding it. These same children that people have been forced to keep, now have a high chance of becoming criminals. Cases of neglect and abuse of children usually take place in homes where the parent or parents were initially unfit either physically, financially, or even mentally. These children now have to suffer because of the inconsideration of their parent. Like stated before, we are taught that if a problem can be avoided, we should work towards avoiding it. This could have been well avoided by a method such as taking a Plan B pill or even a less justified, but reasonable method such as early abortion. Which could have been performed up to 2 months into the
