THE CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE:
Leadership style is an expression of how the work of leaders
Leadership style is characteristic signs of the system of management activities is by leaders of their personality characteristics.
On aspects individual, an individual's leadership style is the form of behavior which can show affect the efforts of others activities. On the overall aspects, leadership style is a system of characteristic signs operation and management of the leaders, is regulated by the characteristics of their personality.
The most common leadership style is: Autocratic and Democratic
EXAMPLE OF LEADERSHIP STYLES:
Steve Jobs and autocratic leadership
Steven Paul Jobs (February 24, 1955 - October 5, 2011) is a business magnate and American invention. He is co-founder, chairman, and former CEO of Apple, is one of the most influential people in the computer industry.
Steve Jobs is one famous saying: "Democracy does not create great products. To do that, he needs a wise dictator". This statement has demonstrated his leadership style - autocratic style. We usually understand "autocratic leadership" in the bad sense, but the real story of Steve Jobs and Apple's success shows that this style has significant strengths. Of course, it also has negative consequences and impact for Apple.
