Project Management Maturity Model Paper

The organization I work for is very small. We are a small independent insurance agency and an event planning agency housed in the same office. There are a total of three employees including myself. Two of the employees work in the insurance company and one employee works both companies. There are many contracted independent agents that may use the office on an as needed basis on the insurance side. Several years ago, I bought a program called the Insurance Profit s System; it is not a project based program. However, it had many of the foundational steps that were laid out for the Project Management Maturity Model (PMMM,) such as creating common process for agents so we are all doing and saying the same things. This is a project we took on as a company and it took approximately a year and half to get through all the required steps. All of the employees were on board to get it done. Part of this process include detailing our and process for every part of our jobs. In order to do this we had to track ourselves for many months. The event side of the business is naturally project based. I took some of the information from the insurance profit system and applied them to the event planning side. All of the events are handled as a project and we use the same process for almost all the events. We taken most of the step laid out Project Management Maturity Model (PMMM,) but no with the intention of gaining maturity. We are always evaluating the events to see what we can do better. On this side of the company we use temporary employees on as needed basis. We invite all of consultant to our wrap up meeting to get their opinions and we also provide an evaluation sheet to our clients. On the event side I will like to say we are
