Pros And Cons Of Donald Trump During The Cold War
Dangerous, disconnected, and non-decorus is what the United States has become since the election of Donald Trump. Distance between the U.S. and other neighboring or allied countries, has become further apart because of Trump. Near the beginning of Trump’s presidency, he defined his ideals and cleansed out the White house to make better decisions for the country, but there are very little better decisions. He has made incorrect choices to avoid problems, he has not looked back on what has happened to determine what will, and worst of all, he has threatened other countries with military force. That is why in this day and age, the United States of America is no longer secure because of weaker national bonds, greater threat of nuclear war, and …show more content…
is no longer as safe as it was. Trump repeatedly agrees to or does not agree to anything at all, which then affect human beings and their safety. Trump making nuclear war a possibility more so than a couple years ago endangers not thousands, or hundreds of thousands, but millions of people. Keeping people of a country safe from biohazards and epidemics is important, yet Trump put it off to work on nuclear weapons, war historian Reid Kirby states, “[t]he Trump administration had left 26 key roles for National Biodefense" (Kirby 385), which leads to holes in prevention and safety in defense against biohazards and even weapons countries may use. If the U.S. is attacked, we will be on our own the way Trump is cooperating with other countries, the CAP blatantly marks, “[f]ewer nations will want to work for us (the U.S.), fewer will trust our word, and still fewer will want to fight alongside us if and when the time comes" (CAP n.pg.), the time being war. Wars have been brutal throughout history and with this modern ages newer and more powerful weapons, they will be even bloodier especially without help from countries the U.S. has connected with in the past.
