Modern slavery and human trafficking can and does occur anywhere, it does not really happen to appear in a particular city or town. The rate of this awful crime is becoming one of the world’s fastest growing criminal intent in organized crime.

Looking back in history slavery has been banned around the world for more than 150 years now. With that being said, there are more people living as slaves around the world today than ever before. About 30 million people across the world and 15,000 every year here in the U.S. and the scary thing is that they are actually working for you. According to Slavery Footprint, there is a good chance that the clothes you are wearing and the laptop you are on right now were produced by slaves.
