To get a job as a Pulmonologist, you need to graduate high school with a high GPA. In college, you need to get a good grade to get into medical school, you cannot get below a C in any of your science or math classes. You have to graduate college to enter medical school. You have to complete anatomy and physiology. You also have to have a good knowledge of the respiratory system.
While being a Pulmonologist you have to have good hand-eye coordination and good problem solving skills. To be fully certified Pulmonologist, you have to go through 13
years of school and training. As a Pulmonologist you can work in a clinic, hospital or research center. You have to have good problem solving skills because you have to make good decisions about people’s health. It is also important to work well under pressure, because if somebody is really sick and in your care, you need to make choices for their benefits.
Overall to be a Pulmonologist it takes a lot of work and hours of training but I think I have the drive to try and reach my goal.
