General Purpose: I have always like helping others. I have a passion for it, seeing someone smile because I brighten their day is something that I absolutely love doing. I decided I wanted to change my career path to nursing back in 2012. I was told by my former clients that I would make a wonderful nurse. That made me take the steps to this career path of RN.
Specific Purpose: Choosing to be a nurse is a great decision. Many nurses who complete RN to BSN or MSN degree programs already know about the great advantages, incredible career opportunities and vast possibilities of being a nurse. 2. You also have to be a problem-solver with critical thinking skills, such as strong judgment and reasoning, to make decisions in a health crisis.
