Reaper Monologue

Hey, how you doing?

Been a couple of centuries eh?

Five? Really? Not so long then eh?

How are the family and Martha?

That’s great. Yeah for me it’s been the same you know, just the usual.

Rumors are rumors man. //

Ok you really want to know? Well its not that bad as everyone’s making it.

All right so you know how my job involves me taking the souls of them mortals and helping them cross. But you know it’s too much of a bother every time. I mean how many times do you have to tell someone they’re dead before they actually believe it. I mean you’re colder than ice, other people can’t see you, you can see your own body and you walk through things. What else besides being dead can you be? It’s really tiring honest to say. /

No it’s just that most demons have the wrong idea of who we are and what we do. I mean I love my job at least I’m not a demon. No offense.

I’ve just been promoted by Death himself to Reaping level 3 and I’m getting some of the big guys now. Like that kid from that singing show that died a couple months ago. Sad, drug overdose or something. But besides that I’m actually out in the field now.

Yeah I talked to Death, oh that’s the story you’re talking about.

So about a year or 5 ago I was going about usual taking souls, walking hell hounds down in New York. I had a job in one of ‘em small hospitals and there was this boy you know maybe 17 or 18 years. Poor kid got drunk and crashed. Pretty broken up all over to be honest.

So I started winding his soul out and he let me. He actually let me. He saw me. And actually let me take his soul out. Unbelievable really.

He looked at me as though I was the greatest and most horrible reaper he’d ever seen. /// It was amazing though. So well, I couldn’t help myself. I had to let him go. //

What! Don’t yell at me I had to! He wasn’t ready I’m sure.

Yes I know it’s against the laws but I talked to Death about it.

His darkness isn’t actually

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

In the event of a Zombie apocalypse devastating my school, I would have the time of my life living out every girl's dream of becoming the essence of Katniss Everdeen. In order to survive, I would need quality running shoes as I would need to constantly be on the move. Blisters could be the end of me, so bandages would also be necessary. My food and water would come sporadically through foraging, but I would make sure to have the supplement "GU" because it is specifically formulated for distance runners, and thus would fill in any gaps in my hydration or nutrition needs that might arise. A black Morphsuit would also assist my survival. I would be nearly undetectable, allowing me to safely slink through the shadows, looking for new sources of…

Jake Frey. A name that carries weight, and fame. Though, the person fortunate, or unfortunate enough to own this name, knows what kind of fame he has. I know what it is I’m famous for. I’m a survivor and a victim, but of course, to some I am a monster. What happened to me all those years ago was not in my control. It’s not my fault that man had decided to come to my school, shoot many of my friends, and even myself. I was only hit in the lower left portion of my back, but playing dead saved me. He had watched as I tried to escape with my girlfriend Lucy, and my best friend Ezekiel, and my sister Raven.…
