Reasons To Go To College
Three reasons to go to college are to meet new people, to learn responsibility, and to prepare for a career. There are many reasons to go to college. Some people want to further their education and create a better future for them. A college education secures our future. The number of employment opportunities is greater and statistics reveal that most leaders are college graduates. If a person has a college education, you will make more money which in turn will enable you to have a better lifestyle. Anyone who goes to college and gets their education can shape their communication skills, expand their knowledge base, makes them methodical and organized, and exposes them to a whole new world of learning. Also people who have a college education have better morals and values and can guide their families while providing them all the same. First, a person should go to college to meet new people. Meeting new people can be very interesting. You can make new friends and get help from the people you may come to know. A person can start all over in college and make better friends. Most people grow up in a fairly limited sphere of experiences with people who are relatively similar to themselves. For many people, college is the first opportunity to work closely with people who are different in terms of religion, ethnicity, politics or sexual orientation. The more such experiences you have, the better you’ll be able to thrive in diverse environments later. Become involved in some of your college government or clubs. Your college experience is only as good as you make it. If all you do for fun is party, then you won’t get much out of your four years other than a few good stories and some pictures on Facebook. Instead of partying, find clubs, intramural sports teams, and other groups to join. Not only will it make you feel more connected to your school, but it will allow you to meet people with similar
