Recycling Week is a recycling campaign held in Singapore‘s different region monthly, mainly central, North East, North West, South East and South West. Singapore-based environmental organization established in 2002 promotes environmental awareness and events through brochures, newsletter, and websites providing updated news and information. In Recycling week, Singaporean are encourage to take part in events and activities like, visit to power station and sorting plant to increase their awareness of global warming and taking participation in recycling itself.

It is committed to motivating every individual to take up environmental ownership and to care for the environment as a way of life.
3. Objective
The Clean & Green Singapore (CGS) campaign is a nationwide initiative organized by the National Environment Agency (NEA) for the community. The campaign serves as a platform to promote environmental ownership to the general public as well as to showcase and recognize the environmental sustainability efforts by the various organisations in the People, Public and the Private (3P) sector.
The Clean and Green campaign has evolved from a week-long to a year-long campaign that is positioned as a concerted national endeavour, to inspire Singaporeans to adopt an environmentally-friendly lifestyle, since its inception in 1990.

Singapore is divided into 5 Community Development Council (CDC) districts namely Central, North East, North West, South East and South West.
