Dining out with my family is one of my favorite things to do. The two restaurants I prefer to visit are Red Lobster and Chili’s. When preparing to eat out cost, menu choice, and time efficiency are three important factors that I consider. Although both restaurants’ prices are reasonable, Red Lobster gives you more for your buck. Not only will you get a fulfilling entrée, but you also get a crisp garden or Caesar salad and unlimited supply of freshly baked cheddar bay biscuits at no extra cost. At Chili’s the cost is moderate, but you won’t get anything extra. You may want to stick with primarily with a glass of cold ice water since any other beverage is grossly overpriced. Another very important I consider when dining out is the menu
choice. Chili’s has a very large array of different foods. The menu seems to be endless serving everything from fajitas to steak. However, is your passion for seafood is strong as mine; you’ll want to visit Red Lobster. They have some of finest seafood that sea has to offer. You can start with a bowl of seafood gumbo followed by your choice of lobster, shrimp, or crab linguini. Seafood can be part of a healthy diet. The wait is also a critical factor when considering where to eat. If I choose to go to Red Lobster, it’s usually very early. There is no wait time and you are normally seated right away. On the other hand, if you decide to go late expect a wait time of nothing less than 45 minutes. In contrast to Red Lobster’s long evening wait, Chili’s offers phone ahead service although there is rarely a wait depending on location of the restaurant. Both restaurants have their own unique style. There are many factors to take into consideration when dining out. With Red Lobster or Chili’s I believe that you cannot go wrong and I am pretty sure you will enjoy yourself.
