I have to continue learning the ways of proper use of certain adaptive equipment that OT department gives it to veteran. My supervisor has given me more caseloads and had me to finish the documentations within a certain period of time after evaluations and treatment sessions. My supervisor allowed me to sign the daily treatment notes without checking it over the past two weeks.

My supervisor’s goals are I can do all the evaluations and problem solve on my own without his help and finish all the documentations I need to type up on time at this point.
The actions I have taken to address these requirements are I try to go to the clinic half hour earlier to look at information about patients’ diagnoses that I have to see for a day. And I spend more time to read and type up evaluation and progress notes as much as I can during my break hour. In addition, I study up on things I don’t know or remember at home in order to meet my supervisor’s goals.
Identify if you need assistance at this time.
I only need assistance from my supervisor when I evaluate patients with complicated diagnosis because I am not familiar with some diagnosis and which adaptive equipment I should offer. Therefore, I still need help from my supervisor to give me suggestions for certain diagnoses. In addition, I still need assistance from my supervisor when family members ask me certain questions.
