1. What leadership style do I use? My subordinates would describe me as a transformational leader. As a transformational leader I am able to be adapt the various leadership style based on my subordinates needs. Additionally, I use transactional leadership, contingent reward aspect of transactional leadership I use as a tool to motivated the instructors that are extrinsically motivated. I do feel my leadership style is very effective because of the feedback I have received.
2. How would your supervisor describe your followership? My supervisor would describe my follower-ship traits as being Competent, having Integrity being loyal and showing initiative. I happen to be in a unique position with my supervisor because I trained him and have more experience being a PME instructor. There are times often when my supervisor runs a lot of big decision by me. So numerous times I feel as if I’m the supervisor.
3. How would your subordinates describe you as a leader? My subordinates describe as bold, fearless and direct. They also know if they have problems they should exhaust all their resources before coming to me with that problem. Additionally, my subordinates know I would do anything to better them even if the action is not popular. Finally, my subordinates would describe me as a work hard play hard type of NCO.
4. How would you describe yourself as NCO? I would describe my self as a trying to become a great NCO. There is always room for improvement so I never agreed with the term a good NCO. I have my Moments, but I can get a little stubborn at times which may seem a little bit disobedient, but I do believe you have to ruffle feathers if you are being a good NCO.
5. How would your supervisor describe me as a NCO? My supervisor would describe me as a NCO who embodies the leadership style idealized influence, and intellectual stimulation. I’m not one to bark orders or give task I haven’t done or wouldn’t do my self. My supervisor
