When Mrs Gamble introduced the I-Search, I already had an idea of what I wanted to do, though, not a clear one. I became excited when Mrs. Gamble was explaining the process of the I-Search, I was also trying to forget about everything my brother told me and enjoy it. After doing some thinking, I decided that I would do my research on concussions since concussions are common in the sports I play. I wanted to know not only how to prevent them, but the diagnostics and symptoms. I took quality notes and found dense sources to back up my notes. Then, I hit a fork in the road.
My research materials had gone missing so, starting from scratch was only option. I got intimidated and started rushing through taking poor notes from unreliable sources knowing that the notes done before took too long. managed to turn my project in to Mrs. Gamble. I realized that I forgot to write a search journal and didn't include my printed sources which made me stressed. Mrs. Gamble did the checkup and when I got it back, it was no shock that I had gotten a 27/60. Disappointment is the only emotion I felt. I very rarely do that poorly on assignments.Thankfully, I got the opportunity to redo that checkup and gather everything I needed to ace the second checkup. It just so happened that I was assigned this right before break. After completing the work late at night, I turned it in the next day. It was greatly improved.
