Romeo uses imagery to describe their situation. “More light and light, more dark and dark our woes!”. To Romeo dark is him getting separated from Juliet, and light is Juliet. Juliet wants to hear Romeo every day. “I must hear from thee every day in the hour, For in a minute there are many days”. Time will go slowly for Juliet and she wants to hear from Romeo every minute. Juliet wonders if she will ever meet Romeo again. “Oh, think’st thou we shall ever meet again?”. This is very sad which gets the audience’s sympathy and she is not sure if she will see Romeo again.
Lady Capulet cannot feel Juliet’ feelings. “Evermore weeping for your cousin’s death?”. Lady Capulet does not understand what Juliet is really crying for, Romeo, but her mother thinks she is crying for cousin’s death (Tybalt). Juliet talks one thing about Romeo. “God pardon him! I do, with all my heart,”.
