Rendar took off like a shot back towards his village, using the starry night sky to light his way, jumping and climbing over logs and rocks as he ran as fast as his Kyph legs would allow. As he got closer to his village, he was able to smell the huts that were still smoldering from the fires that were set.
He made his way in silence to the place his home was and spotted his grandparent's lifeless bodies lying on the ground with arrows in their chests.
