Review of Tucanos Brazilian Grill
Tired of the same Mexican and New Mexican food restaurants you find in the Albuquerque area? Well look no more; your search for new food experience is done. Tucanos Brazilian Grill is here to fulfill those cravings, with their great selection of meat, huge salad bar, and great Brazilian atmosphere; is a great chance to experience a little bit of Brazil right here in Albuquerque. In this modern restaurant, an entertaining and filling “Rodizio” style buffet and service are provided for everyone.
The gaucho style of grilling the meat is called churrasco which is the Brazilian equivalent to a BBQ style in America; this style of cooking is renowned for the delicious preparations of all types of meat. Tucanos Brazilian Grill is located on the heart of downtown Albuquerque in the First Street and Central Ave. Tucanos has several amenities around it, such as the movie theater, and Albuquerque’s night life spots.
Servers in Tucanos come to your table with a big skewer on which are placed all type of meat, almost all the meat in the skewers are sizzling hot right off the grill and brought to you; servers bring one meat after another one until you say “ No thank You”. Each of the tables at Tucanos includes a wooden piece with two colors read and green; the green side indicates you want more meat brought to your table, and the red means you are taking a break or that you are done. Eating at Tucanos can get overwhelming sometimes, because of the amount of food is offered, but you have to pace yourself with the food, and take your time to find what type of meat you like. Beside the Vast amount of meat, Tucanos offers a huge salad bar that is fresh and abundant with all sorts of foods.
Starting with the Salad bar, it offers assorted breads, fried bananas, mashed potatoes, black beans, rice, and unlimited variety of salads and pastas. Tucanos also offers a big assortment of beef, chicken, and pork selections to please any type of meat craving
