The revolutionary leaders were immersed with knowledge of educational writings from scholars such as, Thomas Hobbes and John Locke, among many more. The knowledge had an immense impact, on the foundations, principles and rights, the revolutionary leaders fought so passionately to establish.
One bold example of the action and desire to become different from the British thrown was 1733 when colony of Georgia was founded by James Oglethorpe. Georgia colony original master concept was to generate a Utopian society for which the English debtors could learn and achieve better lives.
