Question 1: Identify a minority group to which you do not belong. What steps could you take to learn about the market segment in order to sell the consumers a product or service? I do not belong to any minority group so I will choose Hispanic.
First, I would learn about the market for Hispanics as accurately so I can have a deeper understanding of exactly what I am selling to and who my market will be. Second I would set some sales goals based on the nature of my product as well as the needs of the Hispanic group and I would try to break it down into manageable parts. If I were to be contacted by a company in another country that desired to sell my product I would first find out all the legal concerns in that country as well as the legal rights to sell from the U.S. to another country. Next, I would make sure how I would like my business to grow and set the correct restrictions in order to sell in another country.
Choose any country besides the United States and determine what changes you would have to make to your marketing plan to adjust to the different culture.
I would search the culture of Spain to learn the language, culture and how they market their products. I would visit the country to get a better understanding. I would plan a vision for the future of the company and include detailed goals in Spanish. With goals, I would have plans with daily, weekly, monthly, as well as yearly goals with action to
