Romeo And Juliet Cause And Effect
What caused the ending of Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet did not end a happy ending. As a matter of fact it was quite tragic. It was a rivalry between two family who could have more power. Two kids from these families though fond that they strongly love each other and wanted to be together forever. These kids were Romeo and Juliet. They were too afraid to tell their parents because of what they'd think so they decided to take matters into their own hands and things did not go well for them. My thoughts for why this ending was so tragic is because of Juliet's cousin!

I believe that Tybalt (Juliet's cousin) is the cause for the ending of Romeo and Juliet because he is the reason Romeo got banished from the city. Tybalt got in a fight with Romeo's best friend and they started fighting. It seemed to be all fun and games until Tybalt accidentally

This was a major problem for Romeo and Juliet's relationship and love because if Romeo was gone this meant they couldn't see each other. What they planned to do is have the Fiar Marry them and give Juliet a potion to make her be presented as dead when she is in a very deep sleep in reality. This way she'd be put into the catacombs and could wake up and run away from home with Romeo and they'd be together forever. Unfortunately the message of what was happening did not get to Romeo soon enough and he went to find Juliet and saw her “dead”. His heart was broken and reciting from his emotion he killed himself by drinking a potion. The Friar came to tell Romeo what was happening and to help them escape but by the time her got their Romeo was already dead. Not long after Juliet woke up to find Romeo dead and was so heart broken she decided to stab herself with Romeo's knife. In the end they both ended up dead and that was the tragic ending of Romeo and

The feud between the Montagues and the Capulets also played a large part in their deaths. The feud between the two families meant they couldn’t even talk to each other. All of the fighting between the two families did not set a good example for Romeo and Juliet. In the end; their deaths were caused by their own love and foolishness. There are many others who also believe this. An example from a document on this same topic says “These two are too quickly married and do not think of the consequences of their actions. Adolescent passion fools both Romeo and Juliet into believing that their love can transcend their families’ strife and the rules of patriarchal Verona.” (Document B: The foolish passion of Romeo and Juliet). Teenagers are constantly changing and hormones make them do stupid things. Romeo and Juliet are a prime example of this. The day after Romeo and Juliet meet, Romeo goes to Friar Laurence about his desire to marry Juliet. Friar Laurence is suspicious of the relationship between the two young lovers. Friar tells Romeo that “[young men’s] love […] lies not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes” (II.III.68-69). Romeo objects that he does indeed love Juliet and tells Friar that he should be grateful Romeo has buried his love for Rosaline. Foreshadowing occurs when Friar retorts that Romeo “[did not put his love] in a grave, [but made room] to lay [another] in” (II.III.85-86). Obviously, Friar realizes that the fate of the lovers will not be virtuous; however, he goes along to perform the marriage. Shortly after the marriage, Romeo is guilty for killing Tybalt and is banished from Verona. When Juliet’s parents wish for her to marry Paris Friar offers an alternative. Friar suggests to Juliet that if she would “[…] hast the strength of will to kill herself […] (IV.I.73) then she would not have to marry Paris and gives Juliet unknown drugs to make her appear to be dead. Friar has a responsibility to send Friar John to warn Romeo of Juliet’s false death; once again, another let down by Friar Lawrence. Romeo’s man, Balthasar, arrives to Romeo first. Balthasar tells Romeo that “[…] [Juliet’s] body sleeps in Capels’ monument” (V.1.18); creating dramatic irony. The miscommunication on Friar Lawrence’s behalf then contributes to Romeo finding Juliet unconscientious in a tomb; resulting in Romeo’s suicide. Shortly after Juliet awakes she finds that Romeo is dead; naturally, Friar Lawrence…

Nothing else on his mind, with no other ideas, he could come to only one conclusion, “ If, rather than to marry County Prince, thou hast the strength of will to slay thyself, then is it likely thou wilt undertake a thing like death to chide away this shame… Take this vial, being in bed, and this distilled liquor drink thou off… The roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade to paly ashes, thy eyes’ windows fall like death when he shuts up the day life”, (Act IV, I, p.4). He gave her a sleeping potion, telling her to drink it before going to bed as she was alone. It was to make her appear as if she were dead. He would then send a messenger to Romeo telling him that Juliet is fine, but he needed to come get her. As it turns out, there was a major outbreak of a plague, resulting in Romeo not receiving the…

Not wanting that to happen to Juliet, Friar then comes up with a plan to have Juliet drink a potion that night before the wedding that will make her in a death like state and make her to sleep for 42 hours. That way the Capulets would believe she is dead and gone for good; to then put her in the Capulet Vault with all the other corpses of their family tree. Then Friar would send a messenger to Romeo about how Juliet isn’t dead and that he needs to rescue her that night when the potion is about to wear off so they can live together in secret at Mantua. Juliet believes this is a wonderful and somewhat risky plan, but she would do anything to be with her beloved Romeo; she then drinks the concoction and the plan is set in place. Friar Laurence then sends Friar John to send the message to Romeo but he fails to deliver it before Romeo’s servant Balthasar who tells him ( according to what he saw) that “... she is well, and nothing can be ill.…

Over my lifetime I’ve officiated a few sports in basketball, flag football, and judging track and field. In the future I don’t really plan on expanding my officiating resume. I’ve officiated basketball more times than any other sport so that is the one where I have my most experience and a brighter future in. When I officiate basketball games one issue I notice with not just myself but with other officiating crews is that its not always officiated fairly. This is a big issue in all of sports because if some of the officials aren’t calling the game fairly then the outcome of the game can be drastically changed.…
