Romeo And Juliet Persuasive Speech
Love is so powerful. Love can lead to death and also to happiness. Romeo and
Juliet show that love has no limits. They would do anything for each other. They are just two teenagers in love. But not just teenage fake love, they are in deep, deep love for each after only a few days. They have such a strong connection with each other and the love everything about each other. They don’t know what will happen after they fall in love, but they are willing to embark on the journey to find out. Just like young men and women who go into love with a blindfold on, not knowing what is going on.
Love at first sight is looking at someone and feeling that you are going to stay with them for your entire life. I don’t believe that love at first sight is a good thing. If you just looked at

What if they were a bad person, what if you didn't like their personality. For me you should start to really “love” someone once you get to know them really well and you spend time with that person. After you get to know a person, that is when you should make the decision, not right after you see them.
Although, I don’t believe in love at first sight. It does have its benefits. If you feel something for a person the second you look at them, it shows you make an instant connection with them. Obviously having an instant connection is wonderful and it will also be helpful if the other person had an instant connection too. For example, Romeo and Juliet immediately fell in love with each other and got married. But that didn’t take them that far. Love at first sight shows that since the beginning you loved that person, but it’s risky because you never know who you love. In Romeo and Juliet, love at first sight is the main reason for that story. Had they gotten to know each other better, the story wouldn’t of been interesting. It would’ve just been a

“Don’t be over self-confident with your first impressions of people” – Chinese Proverb. Even though people try not to make preconceived notions, it just seems to happen instantly and uncontrollably. Once you have “branded” that person with your preconceived notion, they will always seem like that when you see them and it would be hard to change your mind about them. The only way of knowing how people are truly is to simply give them a chance and talk to them and get to know them better because you may never know when your notion may be overthrown. It is my personal experience to say that my first impression of someone who is now one of my closest friend have been overthrown when I took a chance and talked to her.…

When people think of love, they often think of the passion and happiness that two people can share. Love is a strong emotion that can lead to much damage, but love itself is like a flame; it is bright and powerful, but it does burn out. Romeo’s point of view on love is that there is one true love for each individual and the belief in “love at first sight”. Romeo is a very handsome, wealthy, young, heartfelt and clingy individual. Romeo’s “lover boy” personality is so obvious, that it is commonly mocked by Mercutio, his best friend, for being too sensitive and turned into a sex related joke. Many people see Romeo as a person who determines love by his eyes not by his heart due to his sudden disintegration of mad love towards Rosaline in exchange for one glance of Juliet. In addition, many people question Romeo’s loyalty among Juliet as his wife. As a result, his perspective on love pursued a negative effect and…

Love at first sight. Is it really love, or is it an obsession masked by emotion? In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the characters are misled by their obsessions and a perpetual feud. This, by their own doing, led them straight to their grave. The families of Romeo and Juliet had been at war for ages and although the feud is known to cause trouble, the couples’ obsession gets the best of them. Juliet states, “My only love sprung from my only hate” (22). Along with Juliet, Romeo lets his obsession with ‘love’ consume him. His infatuation with Juliet provokes his untimely death. In Romeo and Juliet, the tragic nature of an obsession as a theme, war as a motif, and the dagger as a symbol are all important literary devices to analyze in the study of the text.…

Romeo and Juliet is a classic play by William Shakespeare about a pair of star-crossed lovers whose passion eventually drives them to their unfortunate deaths. Since the theme in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is Love as a Cause of Violence, it is easy to see why Shakespeare uses that thematic focus to show how Romeo and Juliet’s love for one another affected the outcome of their relationship.…
