Rosa Parks Being Courageous

Showing leadership, bravery, and willingness are acts of courage. People tend to look down upon others. If they have courage they will be able to deflect negative comments. Courageous means to stand up for what’s right, taking a risk, and sacrificing.
To begin with, being courageous means standing up for what's right. A woman named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus. Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus. Risa Parks is an African American who entered a bus. She was asked to stand from her seat but did not obey. She violated the laws to defend herself and others. “Parks knew the risk when she defended her right and others’ (Source 1, Para. 2). In the year 1995, African Americans did not have the same privileges as other residents do. African Americans weren’t allowed into same places as a white resident and were often rejected from places from places. Rosa Parks defended her rights and others by creating groups to go against segregation showing courage means standing up for what’s right and taking a risk.
For instance, “1995, Allied forces discovered the first of Hitler’s many secret repositories of art” (Source2, Para 7). Monuments Men went into an enemy’s place to save art. They would have been captured if they were found. Monuments Men risked their lives to save histories of art. For example, “Monuments Men went into an enemy’s place to save art” (Source 2, Para. 5). They risked their lives to save a painting called Mona Lisa. To put their lives on the edge they must have been courageous. Moreover, “Monuments Men saved a popular piece of art before a bombing “(Source 2, Para 6). Monuments Men saved a historical piece of art called Vinci’s Last Supper. They put up bars and sandbags around the painting to protect it just before the bombing, The Monuments Men show courage by risking their lives and sacrificing
