Imagine this you, and your friend both love to play football and the season is just starting and you both play the same position so you try out for the team and your coach can not decide who should get the starting position so you injure your friend somehow so you could be the starter, you probably think its a good idea and go through with it but it backfires and you get kicked off the team.This situation is very simlar to the short stories of Ruthless by William DeMille and The Frog and the Mouse by Aesop.
