Salisbury College Drones Case Study

The proposal on the drone-based security at Salisbury College was an interesting idea. I think the proposal was well written but it missed on certain topics. The proposal touched points on how much the drone would cost, the current situation on campus, and the benefits of have extra security. But what it did not touch on is the project plan and the qualifications.
I think that there could have been more information on the qualifications and project plan for this drone. The proposal had no information on how the campus would get the funding for these drones. Also where would the money come from to train these officers in Florida? I also think that the police department would need more than three officers to be trained. That is would be more money than they initially planned. Key components such as the plan to get the money should have been added into the cost and benefits section of the proposal. This could have been a part of the project plan. The opening could have been talking about the end result of getting the
Not only this, but also description of organization, or previous experience. No one in the police department would have any previous knowledge or background with the drone. A three day training session would not be enough to suffice an entire department, especially when only three police officers will be trained. Not to mention, what similar projects have been completed and have successful. I feel like if these few details would have put this proposal over the top because I would know more about this station.
After reading the proposal, I can see that there is multiple reasons on why they need the drones on campus. But I think the reasons and benefits are not the only thing that this proposal needed. It needed the background information to support this new project. There was just some more information that needed to be put into the proposal to make it
