The behaviors measured in the behavioral symptoms index are atypicality and withdrawal. Sarina’s behavioral symptoms index composite scale T-score from both Mrs. Doe and the teacher was 63, in the “at-risk” range. Sarina obtained and Average range in the atypicality and withdrawal section. Atypicality consists of the student’s tendency to behave in ways that are considered odd. Withdrawal consists of Sarina’s tendency to evade others to avoid social contact.

Sarina obtained a standard score of 81 on the CMS index. This score falls within Below Average range. The Wide Range Assessment of Memory and Learning- Second Edition (WRAML-2) was also given to assess Sarina’s verbal and visual memory. In the verbal memory index Sarina obtained a score of 79 which is in the Low range when compared to peers her age. The subgroups that raise a concern on the BASC-3 Parent and Teacher Form are Sarina’s attention problems, learning problems and hyperactivity. Her scores fall under the Clinically Significant range. Other sections of concern are in Sarina’s social and study skills.
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V) was administered in order to obtain an estimate of Sarina’s current level of cognitive functioning. The information collected from the WISC-V suggests that, Sarina is facing any cognitive and memory difficulties. Therefore, the evaluator believes that these results truly reflect Sarina’s general intellectual ability of 82 in the Low Average range.
