Who has not seen a filthy dog or cat walking down the street? Stray animals, all included, just add to our country's façade of a besmirched environment. And sure, this might sound superficial, but if that will get people into getting something actually done, go ahead and think about the image and looks. So far we've been staring at the situation from a Human POV, but animals are also living creatures; with needs that have to be taken care of by us, the highest intellectual being. It has been proven that animals have emotions, not expressed as our own, but they can be happy, sad, angry, hungry, hurt. It is unfair and an abuse that humans are so self centered focusing only in themselves, and not in the other third of living creatures. Animals should be loved and cherished, especially dogs and cats, as they can bring immense joy to any family.
