Dr. Carr it has been weighing heavily on me how school behavior health can be presented to your staff, in a way that clarifies the programs integrity, function, purpose and process. As, well as ensuring the necessity of maintaining decorum required at any medical practice, whether on main post, or in the community. SBH has to maintain its reputation as being a service that helps and not hurts any of its participants. Communicating with Ms. Tucker was confusing as it is unclear why any would enter a medical office engaging in conversation with the practitioner or administrative staff about "why one should be able to view or have knowledge of another's personal medical information or expressing frustration about not being part of a patients …show more content…
Tucker understand maintaining the integrity of the SBH program is very important, as the program is not an individual professional endeavor, but both a national and international program that reaches far beyond how she may or may not feel about the program and the program clinician at SES. Do you think Dr. Lesica presenting/explaining the SBH program would better inform school professionals about the programs integrity and the need for it to remain in this standing? I am not sure if I am not speaking or using the language necessary to convey these points. The incident on January 17, 2017 with Ms. Tucker is a concern to me, as this is not an isolated occurrence. Please recall Dante K. not receiving needed SBH services, as a result of Ms. Tuckers negative expression about SBH and myself as a clinician, per the parent report. Dante' was in need of services since the beginning of school, but mom did not feel comfortable in accessing the service until April, during which time she nonchalantly stated "I do not know why Ms. Tucker said so many bad things about you, you do not seem to be that way at all", I believe Ms. King then scheduled a meeting with administration as mom felt Dante' was not receiving two services from which he would benefit because of Ms. Tuckers expressed personal opinions. Explaining the credentials of SBH providers is done to ensure not only families, but staff that service providers are experts in the behavioral health field, who have terminal degrees in the field. I would ask that you speak with Ms. Mackey about some of the events on January 17 as she randomly complimented me on my composure during an incident that she
