Schools should end later in the day so that when students get home, they won't have time to take a nap, which tend to make people stay up later then they need to. Teenagers need lots of sleep and by beginning and ending the classes later would make that a lot easier! I think that starting the school day later would greatly benefit the students and teachers. if we started school at about say nine thirty in the morning instead of eight thirty or earlier, that would mean that most students wouldn't need to be awake in the morning till almost seven thirty to eight thirty and some kids could even wake up a little later then that depending on where they live. granite it is proven that high school students only need six to eight hours of sleep each night but there is always that few that never get the six to eight hours of sleep.…

Teenagers are often given a bad reputation because they are seen as irritable, uncooperative, and irresponsible. Adults tend to complain about their children never waking up on time, but little do they know that their adolescent children have different sleeping patterns that enables them to stay up late, and arise late. High school students experience enough stress considering their homework load, and they also suffer the hardships of waking up remarkably early in the morning for school. Be that as it may, adolescents still have to discern how to wake up early to be prepared for adulthood, but at this moment, their bodies are not primed for the early mornings such as adults are. Contrary to the current law, schools should begin subsequently to the prevailing early mornings because the untimely school starts result in negative health effects, increased safety risks, and poor academic performance.…

For this debate I am debating why school time should stay the same. J.C.M.S middle school in Sierra Vista has a delayed start time of 9:00 a.m., and finish school at 4:00 p.m. This affects the children who are involved if afternoon sports, most time not getting out until 6:00 p.m sometimes later. If you have homework that same night after spending two hours doing a sport you might procrastinate and not do your homework at all or you will be tired and end up making mistakes that should not have been made. An earlier start time ensures an earlier release time letting sports start earlier and homework being done at an earlier time while not as exhausted from the day.…

One of the reasons we think the school start time should stay the same is because it will make the time commitment of participating in after school activities more difficult to manage. All of us, like many other students, participate in after school activities. A later school start time will mean that school activities will start later and run even later than they do now. The later in the day it gets, the less energy we have to give 100% effort mentally. We will also be more physically tired which means if…

Most states age is set at 18 for smoking and 21 for drinking. By placing the limit on drinking and smoking it is in hope to keep the younger children from using these in the can choose for themselves. One more rule that is in place is on games and movies. This helps parents know what kind of game or movie their child is playing or watching. The higher the rating the more bad the game is for younger children. Finally the rule is the age limit on driving. Some teenagers don’t show a great level of maturity. So in till they can show that they can handle that level they should be restricted in what freedoms they can have. They can be a danger for all other drivers on the road. Once they can show that they have the level of maturity to be able to drive responsibly should they be given a driver’s license. That is why…
