“The Glass style management” from Konosuke Matsushita In this paper, I’m going to talk about the “Glass style management” from Panasonic. As we all know, Panasonic is one of the successful firms in the world. This company already 96 year-old. So what is the “Glass type management”, how is this model come from, and why it is successful? I will answers these questions in the following paragraphs. First of all, I’m going to explain the “ Glass type management”. Glass is means transparent. In Panasonic, managers show the financial statements and company’s statement to the employees regularly. Konosuke said this is a good way to let his employees to know the mission of their company, and let them to know the development of this company. The most important thing for Konosuke and his theories is belief in each other. Employees have to be independent and be positive. So the glass type management is a way to let employees know their company better and work hard for their mission. “ The Glass management” model is occurred when Panasonic founded. In the beginning of the time, Konosuke only has six employees in his store. So the very important thing is, they have to trust teach other, and they have to work for one goal. Since that time, Konosuke announced the statements to his cooperators and also his employees every month. Now, Panasonic is becoming a huge corporate, but the mangers still using this model to running their business. When they have good news, employees are encouraged. When they hear bad news, managers and employees will figure out the solutions together. This is a good way to force of all people, and this is one of reasons that make Panasonic became a successful firm in the world. Why this model is so successful? And a lot of companies are using this model in their companies? In my opinion, “ Glass style management” model required the company has a clear and completed structure. The company must have to
