The ‘Creative Ability Camp’ illustrates and lets them study scientific concepts using low cost and waste materials. Children love to learn but the ways should be unique and here you will be amazed to see how kids diligently perform experiments stretching over long periods, to learn concepts using scientific methodology.
Environmental Awareness is must for every person and specially the children. With this in view, the Centre conducts ‘Environmental Awareness Programmes’ where children know their environment better through activities like poster making, open house quiz, essay writing, extempore speech, debates, popular lectures by experts, dramas, environment awareness marches in the city, pollution studies and fancy dress competitions.
The centre takes pride in their library which has more than 250 video cassettes and CDs on different scientific topics available for ‘Film shows’ for the student groups. If you want to spend your vacation time with your children a little creatively then you will be glad to participate in several ‘Hobby camps’ conducted by the Centre twice a year, once during summer and then again during winter. Some of the camps are held on mechanics, air and water (fluidics), electricity and magnetism, optics, Electrical appliance use and repair, electronics, computers, clay modeling, screen printing, magic etc.
Learning is fun and definitely not a tiresome thing. Let your child understand that as you take him or her along a ride of happy moments and enjoy yourselves at the National Science Centre in Delhi!
