a) Analysis of Warm-Ups
Lead several warm-ups and analyze what went well or what didn’t? How receptive were the students? Were the students ready for the main activity? Why or why not? If you were not able to lead a warm-up, reflect on what you saw, or didn’t see.
I lead several warm ups while observing at Edward Bleeker Junior High School and I think that it was a great learning experience. I learned and improved from my first warm up that I lead. Having this experience observing in both the middle school and high school level made me realize how lucky I was to get my education at SUNY Cortland. Being a Cortland student has taught me a lot about quality physical education, which Mr. Levinson pointed out to me. Cortland has also taught me that a lesson should consist of a instant activities, visual aids, demonstrations, checking for understanding, etc. At the John Bowne I didn’t see Mr. Levinson include any of these topics found in the C-9 in any of his lessons. Using instant activities, visual aids, demonstrations, and checking for understanding would have helped the students grow more during each unit at John Bowne. At
