I came into the course with the idea that everyone would be about their own agenda and nothing else would matter. That assumption was far from the truth. Even though we all have come from so many different units throughout the Army, we have bonded better than anyone could have expected. We all have leaned upon each other to assist when someone did not understand a task. We also motivated each other to exceed. It has shown in the classroom, in Physical Readiness Training, and in the Iron Platoon Competition. I even believe it has made our sister platoon envious.
Last, but not least, the ability to learn and grow, is another characteristic in my leadership philosophy . The course work has taught me so much. My writing and briefing abilities have been elevated to new heights, for which I am very grateful. The class discussions have given me so many different points of view to use as well. Although the curriculum is what determines the grade we receive, I’ve learned the most from my classmates. Their different experiences have given me a new aspect on countless topics. I owe my success in this course to everything they taught
