Cop Out Welcome parents, family, friends, and faculty. We are here to celebrate the accomplishments and the graduation of the Class of 2012. And I would like to give a special welcome to my classmates; well, we are finally here. As you sit here and inhale the aggregate odor of your senior class for the last time, I am sure there are many burning questions racing through your minds: “Will I find my place in the world?” If you are lucky. “Did I really wear this?” Yeah you did. “And who is that stunning young lady addressing us, and how long do I have the privilege of listening to her?” Hey, Ashley Rinehart here, and hopefully not for too long. I realize that your unflattering robes are hiding your expensive dresses and ties, and are probably riding up making you uncomfortable. And not to mention all that clothing is making you sweat in this stuffy gym, but do not worry, my sarcasm is probably making your parents just as sweaty and uncomfortable as you already are. But I am not here to talking about sweaty undergarments. For four years, we have known this day would come and whether are teachers, parents, or ourselves are prepared for it, here it is. We are about to take that giant leap in just a few minutes and after that, it is time to make our own choices. Our biggest decisions will no longer entail which girl to ask to prom, or to take the easy A class or the one with all your friends. Now we will be faced with what job we want to do for the next thirty years, or how we are going to pay our own bills, and this is scary. But life gives us these challenges to make us stronger and build our character, and we must always remember to be thankful for the opportunities we are given, and to realize we can change, and control our own lives. I know some of you are already sitting there whining about how hot it is or how long this is taking. Some of you may have pouted about how we do not get our
