Shame on you
I think shame is something that everyone carries on his or her back, even me. And it is definitely necessary. First of all having shame means to have the sense of restraint against offending others. If everyone in the world wanted to do whatever they want and think that, ‘it’s okay’ then wouldn’t the world be in chaos? It’s very clear that there are things in the world where it’s okay to do and there are some that is not okay to do, and if someone does something that wasn’t okay to do and didn’t feel ashamed of doing it then I’m pretty sure they will think it’s okay to do it for the second time. As this number increases to three, four, five, six, and so on, by the time shame is starting to build up, the world will be ruined with dangerous people and monsters. Shame is that one thing that can stop crime.
Without shame we wouldn’t be where we are now and neither would our neighbors and families. Honestly I don’t think how ‘without shame’ can benefit anyone that has a good heart and …show more content…
leads a good life, but I wouldn’t know for the criminals. If criminals don’t have any shame in doing all those terrible and disgusting things they do then they will only encourage more and more crazy people to exist in the world and they will become even more gruesome and abhorrent than they were. Therefore there ill just be even more victims in the world. How is that a benefit?
According to Dictionary.com, ‘society’ is an organized group of persons associated together for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes.
To have a ‘society’ there must first be an individual, and many individual forms a society, I think everyone knows that. When you start with one individual that has no shame in a society it might sound okay, but if the whole society doesn’t have shame it would be disorganized and there would be turbulence everywhere. It doesn’t just affect the way justice works, also religiously, politically and etc. When an individual doesn’t have shame he or she will eventually be an influence among another individual, and the whole condition of ‘no shame’ would spread, then when the whole society becomes exposed to this ‘condition’ that’s when there’s no justice because there’s no shame. So you see everything starts with an individual and turns into a society, it’s almost like a
reflection.
