Being part of the Environmental Club I made sure to do whatever I could to promote environmental safety, how we could reduce the consumption of electricity and water. Knowing that our earth our home is being depleted of its natural resources it worries me that our future generations will not have a peaceful and beautiful environment. We also participated in Relay for Life where we promoted cancer awareness. With the recycle club we also encouraged people to recycle and distributed recycling binds around the school to all the staff members. The yearbook club allowed me to get to know my school better I would interview sports teams and create pages for them in the yearbook. In the Diversity club I was the Vice-President and our members promoted diversity within our school to help our school’s staff and students learn more about people’s different cultures and backgrounds. This required me to listen to others to let them know that I cared about what they were saying and how they felt. With the National Honors Society, I was able to help out with the Greensboro Interactive Resource Center, providing help for the less fortunate.…
There are many ways one may contribute to their society. Some people may use their intelligence in order to advance society; some may lead the country to be a better future; some may make the world to be a better place just by being in it; and some may volunteer their time to help others. It’s difficult to find one person who possesses and contributes all of these qualities, but I am sure I do. Because the standards for entrance into the Junior Honors Society are leadership, scholarship, character, and service, I believe that I am more qualified for entrance into an organization as prestigious as the Junior Honors Society. Throughout my years as a Meridian Public Charter School student, I believe that I have demonstrated all of these attributes. First and foremost, I am an excellent scholar. Not only do I work very hard to achieve my goals, but I take pride I my accomplishments. I am never happy when something I now is less than my best. I strive for excellence always. Throughout me elementary school career, I have been on the honor roll every marking period, and I am proud of that. At the end of my elementary school years I believe I have been the smartest of them all. Also, my GPA has never gone below a 3.6 and I have never received a grade less than a B-. I believe that fact of being nominated for the Junior Honors Society shows my academic achievement in itself. I am also capable of being an honorable leader. I am trustworthy and responsible. If something is expected of me, I try my best to live up to the expectations and strive to do even better. I am true to my word and I can be trusted to complete a task on time. I am also a respectable person suit to be a leader. I do not follow crowds, nor would I ever desire to; I enjoy being unique.…

For me, being accepted into the National Junior Honor Society would be a privilege. Being accepted into NJHS will allow many opportunities for me in the future as I work towards my goals as both a high school student and a college student. The National Junior Honor Society will help me to improve on my scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. These five traits are referred to as the five pillars of the NJHS, and I believe that I have a strong foundation in each trait.…
I want to be a member of the Davis National Junior Honor Society because I am eager to give it all my best to be an outstanding leader. I believe leadership is a great thing to have in my life. It would make a difference in my life and other people’s. It would be an honor to be chosen! I feel that I should be one of them; I being in this program would show that I am not here in school for drama, gossip, etc. I am here for my education. Yes to have fun but not fun to where I would be low on my grades, if I see that my grades are dropping I try my hardest to bring them up, I will do whatever it takes to bring my grades up and that’s just what’s called hardworking! I am an honor roll student; I am intelligent and outstanding. I don’t like to follow; I like to be a leader. I think I am already a leader, at home I am. I have manners… who doesn’t? I am honest and respectful. I like to help on projects with staff and city year. At home I help my siblings with their projects; I also help my peers during classes when they ask me for help. This is a dream to me; I will stand to be a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society. So it would be an honor to be chosen it really would. I know that no matter what, I will make a difference.…
The Corperation of National Community Service found this statistic that volunteering and being involved in the local government can give you 27% higher odds of finding a job rather than non-volunteers. When I finish High School I might have 27% higher odds of getting a job because I have met my civic responsibilities. I have met my civic responsibilities by going to school board meeting, babysitting for the parents of Parent Teacher Organization and working the PTO Fun Run, and I learned even the small things make a difference.…
On Monday night, the Board of Education met to discuss the possibility of building more facilities to accommodate the rising student population in the school district. Being Student Body President has been a challenge that has sparked a personal growth in me and the people I lead. I was elected in a tough spot. I inherited an almost entirely new student council. I honestly don’t think that I have ever been challenged in leadership. Leading has always come natural to me. I've found with this group that I haven't been as effective…

Since the start of education and it’s components for learning purposes, not just the academic side has become our use for success and for competitive side, but taught us to push forward of oneself, to become leader of the society. The role of being an officer is the next factor to consider especially in a school. The elections comes next as to find the worthy leader of the society, election is a decision-making process by which a population chooses an individual candidate to hold a particular position of the office, group or society, voter finds his/her name in the voters' list and locates the correct precinct. As for school elections, students’ name is found in a list along with its specific classroom, a particular student voter may search by year or section category, afterwards the process, the voter will drop the list of voted candidates into a ballot box and the process is finished. Like the nationals, the election is only conducted in a period of time, as for a secondary or a tertiary school, it is only conducted every school year.…
