I want to be a member of the Davis National Junior Honor Society because I am eager to give it all my best to be an outstanding leader. I believe leadership is a great thing to have in my life. It would make a difference in my life and other people’s. It would be an honor to be chosen! I feel that I should be one of them; I being in this program would show that I am not here in school for drama, gossip, etc. I am here for my education. Yes to have fun but not fun to where I would be low on my grades, if I see that my grades are dropping I try my hardest to bring them up, I will do whatever it takes to bring my grades up and that’s just what’s called hardworking! I am an honor roll student; I am intelligent and outstanding. I don’t like to follow; I like to be a leader. I think I am already a leader, at home I am. I have manners… who doesn’t? I am honest and respectful. I like to help on projects with staff and city year. At home I help my siblings with their projects; I also help my peers during classes when they ask me for help. This is a dream to me; I will stand to be a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society. So it would be an honor to be chosen it really would. I know that no matter what, I will make a difference. -Yulma
