The first reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” The chemicals that the people are using are burning or other worse things to them. The chemicals that they use on the animals could hurt or kill them. Over half of side effects cannot be detected in …show more content…
Every year in the U.S., over 25 million animals are used in biomedical experimentation, product and cosmetic testing, and science education. If you use the chip that the people made you wouldn’t have to harm any more animal than you need to. Animals are innocent and shouldn’t be treated poorly by having drugs injected into them. This includes—dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, pigs, sheep, monkeys, chimpanzees, and more. Even rats are tested and they are the closest to human DNA. Even though rats are very close to humans, they have many differences. There is my second point why animal testing is pointless.
My idea of the essay is animal testing should be banned. Millions of animals a year are subject to being imprisoned and having terrible procedures done. People shouldn’t think it’s right to imprison harmless animals. Even if it was right to do animal testing it shouldn’t have to use millions of animals. It costs a lot of money. Another bad thing about animal testing is that it costs a lot of money that could be used on more important things. One of the things that the money could be used on is the chips that can be used in place of the harmed animals. There is my third reason against animal
