For instance, taking classes that has nothing to do with the major is pointless. If the classes are in no use to the student, why make them take it? Education is valuable, and making students take classes that have no value to them is in no way beneficial. Some may argue and say there is a reason for these courses, but is the only true reason is because the college somewhat benefit from it? If the course were to be hard, then it could cause loss in a student's’ GPA
In addition, at Victoria College, generally one semester hour cost up to one hundred and thirty five dollars and twelve hours cost about one thousand six hundred twenty dollars. Typically most students who want to finish quicker and not be in school for many years takes more credit hours, making it cost more money to pay for courses that has nothing to do with their major, sometimes putting students in a financial loss. Education takes time, actually lots of time. Some students take many courses each semester to cut their time in college in half, and having to take the ones that mean nothing is just a waste of the students time. There is that argument that says education takes time, so taking one or two extra required course will not hurt a student, but it does, it is a process to get from one step to another, and students can not do it if they keep getting held back by required pointless
