Everybody that is not participating in using this drug would be in danger because of people under the influence of marijuana. They will be in public because it would be allowed and socially acceptable. At the moment, people try and hide while doing the drug so that they do not get arrested. Nevertheless, if we allow marijuana to be legal, people will simply roam around while high. This could be very dangerous for everyone else, and the city they are in. Vandalism will become a greater issue than it already is. This would be caused by people under the influence of cannabis, that have lost their common sense and ability to make good decisions. Because they cannot think properly at this stage, they might make the futile choice of driving. As these people would not have the ability to drive, they will be putting themselves, their passengers and anyone else on the road, in danger. This could lead to a fatal accident. According to NIDA, “Marijuana is the illicit drug most frequently found in the blood of drivers who have been involved in an accident, including fatal ones.” “Accident-involved drivers with THC in their blood, particularly higher levels, are three to seven times more likely to be responsible for the accident than drivers who had not used drugs or alcohol.” It would not be fair to people who do not want to participate in this drug, that they would be constantly in
